A man has been charged at Belfast Magistrates Court with possessing cannabis worth £125,000 with intent to supply.
A detective told the court on Wednesday that Raymond Joseph Barnard, 36, from Abbey Ring, Holywood, had admitted transporting 23 kilos of cannabis resin.
The officer said the drugs were found on Tuesday in a garage under Mr Barnard's control at Ballymiscaw Road, Craigantlet, County Down.
He opposed bail because of the risk that Mr Barnard would re-offend in order to recoup a substantial financial loss.
Mr Barnard was remanded in custody until 6 August.
