A teenager has died in hospital days after being stabbed during a disturbance in a Birmingham street which was witnessed by his mother.

Jahmaine Ezron Dower was knifed in the side in Ladywood, Birmingham, on Tuesday.

The 16-year-old died from his injuries in hospital on Friday morning.

West Midlands Police said the disturbance, at the junction of King Edwards Road and Ladywood Middleway, happened at about 1900 BST and was seen by Jahmaine's mother.
