A Jersey farmer says he agreed to host a music festival on his land to try and earn an income outside of agriculture.
Carlton le Feuvre of La Hougue Farm in St Peter has already grown a cornfield maze on his land as a visitor attraction.
About 8,000 people could be making their way to his fields this weekend to see a live music festival, which borrows a stage from Glastonbury Festival.
Mr Le Feuvre says he wanted to get involved so his land could be used by the community.
He said: "Farmers have had an absolutely horrendous year - probably the worst ever on record.
"Because of the attachment to La Hougue and the fact that these are all surrounding fields, it was a different way for us move away from agriculture.
"We still have the pleasure of working on the land and being surrounded by the environment I have known all my life."
