Persistent burglar jailed
A 'persistent' burglar has been jailed for four and a half years after admitting a string of offences.

Lee Holden, 26, of Netherwood Green in Norwich, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to four counts of burglary, two of attempted burglary and driving while disqualified and without insurance.

His biggest haul included more than £6,000 worth of jewellery.

He had also stolen mobile phones, cigarettes, and cash.

Hugh Vass, defending, told the court Holden had an eight-year history of committing offences, previous convictions for burglary and was addicted to heroin.

Judge Paul Downes gave Holden a drug treatment and testing order.

He was also banned him from driving for one year.
