Arson suspected in car fires

Police are investigating a spate of car fires in Cornwall on Friday night.

Seven car fires were reported in the early hours of the morning in St Austell, Marazanvose near Truro and in Penzance.

Four cars were then found on fire in a car park in a separate incident in Newlyn.

The fire brigade say in each case the fire was started deliberately.

An arson investigation is now under way.
