Hutton Inquiry

We had the latest revelations form the Hutton Inquiry, which heard of unease within the Defence Intelligence staff about the way the government was presenting its claims about Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction. The word 'over-egged' was used by Brian Jones, the man who managed the scientists.

No 10 press shake-up

We looked at the way the government is reorganising its propaganda operation after the departure of Alasatir Campbell.

Economy

We talked to Evan Davis about whether the British economy is beginning to boom.

Anti-abortionist execution

And we had a report from the United States, where a former Presbyterian minister was due to die by lethal injection, following his conviction of the murder of two people outside an abortion clinic in 1994.
