Witnesses sought in hit and run
Norfolk Police on Wednesday appealled for witnesses to a hit and run incident in Great Yarmouth.

The collision happened when a woman driving what is thought to be a red Ford Escort car hit a 10-year-old boy at the junction of Stonecutters Way and Howard Street at about 1520 BST on Monday.

Police said the woman originally stopped to see if the boy was okay, then went to move her car off the road, but she then carried on driving and did not report the collision.

The child was taken to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston with minor leg injuries - and was released after receiving treatment.

The woman sought by police is white, about 30 years old, slim, with brown shoulder-length hair.

There were two or three small children inside the car she was driving.

Anyone with information should contact the Norfolk Police.
