Police in Greater Manchester are hunting a gang of armed men who threatened a woman with sawn-off shotguns before stealing her jewels and going off in her Rolls-Royce.
The three men broke into the house in Bury and Rochdale Old Road in Bamford, Greater Manchester, at about 0100 BST on Wednesday.
They tied the 72-year-old's hands together, before threatening her and forcing her to open a safe.
The gang escaped in the woman's car with jewellery from the safe.
Detective Inspector Martin Jeffs, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "This was a terrifying attack on a woman in her own home which has left her extremely traumatised.
"These men broke into the house and threatened her with guns before escaping in her own car.
"Although the gang did not use extreme violence they went along armed with guns and I need to catch them before someone gets hurt."
The three men were wearing balaclavas and were slim, about six feet tall and were wearing gloves.
The Rolls Royce was later recovered in Bury New Road in Oakenrod.
