Girl, 10, grabbed by driver
Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident in which a man got out of a car and grabbed a 10-year-old girl.

The girl was walking along a road in Crawley, West Sussex, when the incident happened.

Sussex Police said the man left after a passer-by intervened.

The incident happened at about 1600 BST in the Langley Green area of the town.

Police said the girl was walking along Swallow Road when a white car pulled up alongside her.

They said "a large man" got out of the car and struggled with the 10-year-old until the passer-by stepped in to stop him.

The man got back in his car and drove away.

Police say they want anyone who saw what happened to contact them and they also want to hear from the person who intervened.
