George Bush and Tony Blair
Tony Blair heads on a week long trip to Washington en route to China and Japan. Tonight Tony had the rare honour of addressing both houses of Congress. Tom Carver took the political temperature on hot issues like WMD and Guantanamo. Had these troublesome hotcakes followed Tony across the pond?

Crime
New crime figures are out this week. Overall figures are down, but violent crime is up. A mixed picture but how accurate a picture can we deduce from them?

The Cuban salsa queen who died aged 77. Robin Denselow has followed her music and salsa in venues from Cuba to the North Circular. He paid tribute to her music and her glamour.
