Three men are to stand trial for the murder of a man whose body was found near the M6.
The burnt remains of John Harvey, 59, were discovered by a passing motorist near the Killington Lake services in south Cumbria on 25 April.
Cumbria Police discovered he was from Islington, north London, and used to have a stall on Islington Market, before he moved to Enfield.
Savvas Petri, 51, and Theodosi Petri, 20, both from Potters Bar in Hertfordshire, and Terrence Cook, 53, and from Westhoughton near Bolton, appeared at Preston Crown Court on Thursday.
All three men denied murder and also pleaded not guilty to a further charge of conspiring to murder Mr Harvey between April 1 and 26.
They were remanded in custody. A date for the trial has not been finalised.
