The scheme could spell the end of boredom on journeys

A supermarket chain is helping to entertain children on long journeys by putting quizzes on its lorries' hubcaps.
Bristol-based firm Somerfield originally came up with the idea to place adverts on the wheels.
But company employee Hans Sprenkel suggested using them to stop youngsters getting bored in the car.
The scheme works by fitting lorries with 'floating hubcaps' which remain upright while the wheel behind them turns.
I spy
Among the questions already on vans is "How many red cars can you see?" and "I spy something beginning with S".
Mr Sprenkel, 37, a development controller, said: "I hope that this will mean an end to the question 'Are we nearly there yet?'
"I think it will really appeal to children - and their parents. It's a great interactive project and if it keeps families happy when they are on the road, then we have done our job."
Almost 100 home delivery vans will road-test the scheme before it is rolled out to all Somerfield's 350 vehicles.
