Police have arrested a man after a shooting in Lancashire.
Officers were called to Northgate in Blackburn town centre, close to Bar Life, at about 2330 BST on Wednesday.
John Hoburn, of Fosse Close, had suffered a single bullet wound.
He was taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary where he is due to undergo surgery. His condition was described as "comfortable".
Detectives arrested a man in his 30s and were due to question him on Thursday.
Police at Blackburn are urging anyone who witnessed the shooting to contact them, or call Crimestoppers.
