Students questioned in skydiver inquiry
Stephen Hilder
Detectives are building up a picture of Stephen's life
Detectives investigating the death of a skydiver are taking the investigation to Bristol where he once studied.

A team of police are in the city interviewing people who knew 20-year-old Stephen Hilder in a bid to build up a picture of his life, his friends, and any possible enemies.

Mr Hilder fell 13,000ft to his death on 4 July, after taking off from Hibaldstow Airfield, near Brigg, for a skydive.

He died instantly after his parachutes failed to open. Police believe the cords had been sabotaged.

Detective Superintendent Colin Andrews, the man leading the hunt, says it is vital officers receive more information.

"We need to build up a picture of his life and find any possible motives people may have had to harm him.

"Students from Bristol University and the University of the West of England were with him the weekend of his death and we want to speak to them."
