M-way re-opened after body find
Police say the death of a woman whose body was found on a busy motorway in West Yorkshire is not suspicious.

All three lanes of the westbound carriageway of the M62 have been re-opened near to junction 26, the M606 turning, after officers probed the circumstances around the death of the woman.

A spokeswoman for the force said: "We can confirm that a female in her forties has suffered fatal injuries."

West Yorkshire Police received a call from a member of the public at 1031 BST on Wednesday reporting that a body was lying on the motorway.

The coroner has been informed and police say a post mortem will be carried out, but they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
