Fears for missing girl
Missing teenager Lilly Brooks
Lilly was wearing her school uniform when she went missing
Fears are growing for the safety of a 13-year-old girl who has been missing from her Lancashire home for nearly two weeks.

Liliana Brooks, who is known as Lilly, was last seen at her home in Parbold on the morning of Thursday 3 July.

There has since been one confirmed sighting of her in the market of Manchester's Arndale Centre, on the day she went missing.

Police believe she may also have been spotted in the nearby Shudehill area of the city on 7 July.

On the day she disappeared Lilly was seen leaving for school in her uniform.

'Contact police'

The last contact she had with her parents was when she spoke to her father later that day, at about 1500 BST, telling him she was outside their house.

But her parents have not heard from her since.

Lancashire Police believe Lilly may still be in the Manchester area and are appealing to anyone who may have seen her to contact police.

Officers have also appealed to Lilly herself to come forward and let her family know she is safe and well.
