A man accused of murdering a teenager 19-years-ago has made another appearance at the Old Bailey.
Albert Newman, 55, of Hopeman, north-east Scotland, is charged with murdering 13-year-old Colin Maxwell in 1984.
His body was found in an overgrown garden of a hostel in Streatham, south London, near where his family lived, two years after he vanished.
Colinda Maxwell, Colin's mother and the defendant's former girlfriend, sat weeping in court with members of her family for the six-minute hearing on Wednesday.
Mr Newman bailed to appear at the same court on 13 August when he is expected to enter a plea.
