The cause of Mr Dawson's death is unknown
Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a house in Girlington, West Yorkshire.

The remains of Mark Anthony Dawson, 31, were discovered in the property in Glen Holme Road on 6 June.

Detectives say the cause of death is unknown and forensic examinations are still ongoing.

Mr Dawson is from Jamaica, and police have been in contact with his family and friends there.

A spokeswoman for West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers would like to speak to anybody who was friends or who knew Mr Dawson."

He was also known as "K" or Michael Anderson.
