Nine suspected violent robbers were arrested in Oxford when more than 100 police raided homes in the early hours.
The men were detained on suspicion of robbery, grievous bodily harm and assault.
A large force of officers took part in the simultaneous raids at 0500 BST on Wednesday.
The men, who are all in their late teens and twenties, were arrested at addresses in Boundary Brook Road, Cobden Crescent, Howard Street, all Oxford, Mill Lane in nearby Marston and Kennington.
The suspects were being held at St Aldates police station in the city.
