A young woman has described how she was attacked without warning - by a man she had asked for directions.
The attack happened near a secluded railway bridge on Leicester's Great Central Way in April.
On Tuesday Martin Kelly, 21, currently of no fixed abode, appeared at Leicester Crown Court to admit rape and robbery.
The woman was taking pictures for a film-making competition when the attack happened.
Kelly knew where to find his victim because she had asked him directions to the area, so he followed her there a while later.
She told the BBC how she was literally filming and looking through the camera when Kelly attacked her from behind, holding a screwdriver against her neck.
She said she did not know whether she was going to be killed.

I don't want him to be a threat to society any more I want him to be helped, I don't want him to do this to anyone else

On Tuesday the woman attended court with friends and relatives - to hear her attacker
plead guilty to rape, and to the robbery of her video equipment.
Although she is now determined to move on and make a successful career in film-making, she said the attack has disrupted her life.
"If I see guys in similar dress to what he was wearing I get very panicky - it's taken my freedom away.
"I can't do stuff I could have done before like just walk freely and go to all sorts of places.
"I don't want him to be a threat to society any more I want him to be helped, I don't want him to do this to anyone else."
Kelly will be sentenced after psychiatric reports are prepared.
