Biker dies after crash
A motorcyclist has died after he crashed with a pillion into a hedge in a south Shropshire village.

Howard Peter Robinson's Suzuki crashed on in the village of Lytham, near Bishop's Castle, on 29 June.

The 28-year-old mechanic lived at Mawley Oak Garage on Ludlow Road, Cleobury Mortimer, near the Shropshire-Worcestershire border.

A female passenger suffered serious injuries in the accident.

Mr Robinson was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital but later transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, where he died.

A post mortem examination has been carried out and an inquest has been opened and adjourned until November.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
