Big Brother star arrested at roadside
Jade Goody
Jade Goody shot to fame after appearing on Big Brother
Big Brother star Jade Goody and her boyfriend were arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after having a "furious row" at the roadside, it emerged on Monday.

But both were released when they were found to be under the legal limit after breath tests at a police station.

Police officers were called to the village of Much Hadham in Hertfordshire in the early hours of Sunday by members of the public who heard loud shouting from a car.

When police arrived they found Ms Goody, 22, with her 24-year-old television presenter boyfriend Jeff Brazier, who live in Harlow, Essex, and had been at a wedding.

The couple were both breathalysed and found to be over the legal limit.

Below the limit

Police were unsure who had been driving, so arrested both of them and took them to Hoddesdon police station.

Ms Goody does not have a licence to drive.

Further breath tests at the police station showed they were both below the limit, and it was also established that Mr Brazier had been driving.

A police spokeswoman said: "A 22-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of driving with alcohol above the legal limit.

"A second breath test at the police station showed them to be below the legal limit.

"Both were released without charge and no further action will be taken against them."
