Pensioner killed in road accident named

An elderly woman killed in a collision with a car in Bath has been named by police.

Alice Nash, 88, from Widcombe, was hit by a car as she crossed Rossiter Road in the city on Saturday 12 July.

She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at 0725 BST.

The driver of the Peugeot 306 involved in the collision was not injured.

Police investigating the crash are appealing for anyone who saw what happened in the incident to contact them.
