A man who died from stab wounds after reports of a fight in Gravesend has been named by police.
Kamaljit Singh Kolan was found lying wounded at the entrance to Gordon Park on Thursday.
He was taken to Darent Valley Hospital where he later died.
On Tuesday Kent Police said Mr Kolan was 31 years old and from Sidcup.
Broad daylight
Officers were called to Gordon Promenade, off Commercial Road just after 2015 BST on the night of the incident after receiving reports of a fight involving three men, all described as Asian.
When they arrived they found Mr Kolan seriously injured.
Police want people who may have seen what happened to contact them.
Detective Chief Inspector Dean Barnes, who is leading the investigation, said: "This happened in broad daylight near a park where families were enjoying a summer's evening.
"We believe this incident must have been witnessed by a number of people and we would urge them to contact the police incident room."
