A teenage cyclist has been seriously injured after he was involved in a road accident in North Yorkshire.
Police say the collision between the bike and a Land Rover happened at the entrance to Selby Golf Club, on Mill Lane, Brayton, at 2215 BST on Monday.
The 13-year-old boy was taken to York District Hospital with head and back injuries.
A police spokesman said that both the teenager and the man driving the red Land Rover were from the local area.
Anyone who saw the incident, or saw the vehicles just before the crash, is asked to contact police at Tadcaster.
