Crash motorcyclist dies

A motorcyclist who was in a fatal collision with a pedestrian in Northamptonshire earlier this month has also died.

The 40-year-old from Wellingborough had been in hospital in Oxford since the accident on 6 July.

Pedestrian Sarah Phillipa Beck, 25, of London Road in Wollaston, was hit while crossing the A509 at the town's bypass.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cyclist had been in a critical condition since the crash.

His identity has not been released.
