Rail users should find it easier to get to the station

Plans to transform Sheffield station and its immediate surroundings have been given the go-ahead.
The changes are part of a £50m scheme to create a modern gateway into the city, with an improved road layout and a new public square in front of the station.
Under the proposals, the Sheaf Square roundabout will be removed and Sheaf Street will become a dual carriageway with traffic flowing in both directions.
Councillor Mike Pye said: "These plans will make the station into the key gateway Sheffield deserves - a modern, high quality and dramatic entrance to the city."
Pedestrian link
The new public square will form a pedestrian link to and from the city centre to all the facilities at the station.
It will also have water features, trees, public seating, and a stainless steel sculpture to celebrate the city's heritage.
A "mini" interchange will also be created outside the station with covered waiting areas, information and ticket purchasing facilities.
Last week, the station was given a £12.8m grant by the Strategic Rail Authority for a new station concourse, extra shops, platform renovations, and an improved passenger information service.
