Police appeal after fatal crash
Police are appealing for information after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Shropshire.

The motorcyclist, who has not been named, crashed into an oncoming skip lorry and was thrown from his 650cc bike which then burst into flames.

He was travelling south on the A49 towards Shrewsbury, when the crash happened at Weston-under-Redcastle Prees Green crossroads at about 1125 BST on Saturday.

The lorry driver was airlifted to hospital but discharged after treatment for head injuries.

Another motorcyclist on a high powered bike, who was travelling alongside the victim, was treated for severe shock.
