Long Hot Summer
Sunbathers on the beach
It's been hotter than San Francisco
The blistering sunshine is set to continue for a couple of more days for most of us, though sadly not for those in Northern Ireland.

Many sunbathers have been making the most of the sizzling weather - with temperatures higher than parts of Spain and even San Francisco.

Temperatures in the UK are expected to soar close to record levels in the next few days, especially in central and southern parts of England, before humid showers and thunderstorms come our way.

We sent Breakfast weather forecaster Carol Kirkwood to Hampton Pool, where she's giving Breakfast viewers the latest on the heat wave.

Carol said that cooler weather will begin to come in towards the end of the week - but it still won't be cold!

This morning, Carol was reporting from Hampton Pool, in Bushey Park, near Hampton Court.
