A 24-year-old man has been remanded in custody charged with the murder of an elderly garage owner.
Stuart Ferguson is accused of killing Henry Raybould, 75, who was run over by one of his cars on the forecourt of his business premises near Dudley, West Midlands.
Mr Ferguson, of Talbot Place, Wolverhampton, appeared before Dudley Magistrates' Court alongside Sally Hipkins, 19, who is charged with conspiracy to take a VW Bora and Vauxhall Cavalier without the owner's consent.
Two other male defendants, aged 16 and 18, also appeared before the court on Monday in connection with the death of Mr Raybould on 10 July.
He died from shock and internal bleeding after being found on the forecourt of the family-owned garage at Gornalwood, near Dudley, West Midlands, on Thursday afternoon.
The 75-year-old and his 45-year-old son Paul are believed to have tried to stop a gang stealing a car from the family-run business in Louise Street.
