More than 200 people have attended an illegal rave in Somerset.
The ravegoers descended on land owned by the Forestry Commission at Stockhill near Pridy in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police say the loud music was disturbing many of the nearby residents, but that the group had left the site by the early afternoon.
Inspector Adrian Goldey told the BBC: "These partygoers don't seem to have any consideration for the impact they have on the environment, or on the people living in this quiet area of the Mendips."
He later added that the police are determined to crack down on illegal raves over summer.
Police were called to the rave at about 0130 BST by a member of the public.
