Family of injured man identified
Police say they have managed to trace the family of a man who was hit by a bus in Leicester, after a countywide appeal.

The man, in his 70s was seriously injured after the accident which happened on Friday afternoon in the Belgrave area of the city.

Officers had initially been unable to identify the pensioner following the collision at 1500 BST.

They now say they are in touch with his family.

The man was hit by the bus at the junction between Belgrave Road and Loughborough Road.
