A teenager seriously injured in a car crash that killed his 14-year-old friend has also died.
The 17-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after the car carrying him and two others crashed on Friday on the A48 near Bridgend in south Wales.
He was treated at the Princess of Wales hospital over the weekend, but police announced on Monday morning he had died.
The 14-year-old, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has been named as Christopher Breakspear from Ely in Cardiff.
The accident happened just before 2300 BST on Friday night.
A second 17-year-old received only minor injuries. All three are from the Cardiff area.
The accident happened on the "Golden Mile" between Cowbridge and Bridgend.
The three were travelling in a white Ford Escort which hit a tree, fire officials said.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to call the Roads Policing Unit at Cardiff Bay police station on 029 20 222 111, or their local police station.
