Man charged with attempted murder

Police have charged a Grimsby man with attempted murder following an incident which left another man collapsed in a street.

Terrance Alan Horrocks, 28, of Hainton Avenue, will appear at Grimsby and Cleethorpes Magistrates' Court on Monday.

The injured man was found unconscious in Patrick Street, Grimsby, at 2345 GMT on Thursday.

He was taken to the town's Princess of Wales Hospital before being transferred to Leeds General Infirmary for surgery.

Police have not yet established the identity of the victim, who has undergone several hours of surgery in Leeds where his condition was described as 'stable' on Saturday.
