Detectives have launched an investigation following a shooting in Nottingham late on Friday night.
A man in his 20s was given first aid at the Woodborough pub in St. Ann's after being shot in the ear near Robin Hood Chase.
He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be serious.
Douglas Reed the pub landlord said: "He sustained injury to his ear from what he was saying.
"Whatever was shot probably grazed it.
"He was quite shocked and asked for our help.
"The only help we could give him was to dress his wounds and then we called the ambulance and police."
