Fatal stabbing man named
Police have named a 45-year-old man who died after he was stabbed outside a pub.

School caretaker Thomas Luscombe, from Grays, Essex, died from a single stab wound to his chest.

The incident happened at 2320 BST on Friday. in front of The Oak pub in his home town, said an Essex Police spokeswoman.

Detectives have launched a murder inquiry.

Two men aged 19 and 23 arrested on suspicion of murder are being questioned by police.

Police believe passers-by on the street could hold vital information and anyone with information is asked to call Essex Police.

A postmortem examination will be held on Saturday.
