The Fire Service attended the scene
A County Antrim man is being treated in hospital for smoke inhalation after his neighbour's house was targeted in a suspected arson attack.

The fire at the Old Glenarm Road in Larne was discovered at about 0100 BST on Saturday.

No-one was in the mid-terrace house at the time.

An oil tank at the back of the house was set on fire, causing extensive damage.

Five other nearby houses underwent minor smoke and fire damage.

The man was taken to hospital after suffering breathing difficulties.

Martin McDonald of the Fire Service said officers faced a difficult task when they arrived at the house.

"They were faced with a well-developed fire - it transpired this was due to an oil tank being involved at the rear of the house," he said.
