A 19-year-old Belfast man has appeared in court on charges connected with a burglary on the outskirts of the city on Saturday.
Darren McKeown, from Ardmore Park South in Finaghy, is charged with trespassing at the house in Netherlands Park, Dunmurry, stealing two mobile phones and a set of car keys.
The court heard it was alleged he had been carrying a kitchen knife at the time.
The accused was also charged with stealing a car when he appeared at Lisburn Magistrates Court on Monday.
A detective constable told the court that when the two charges had been put to the defendant, he had replied "no".
However, she said she believed she could connect Mr McKeown to the charges.
He was remanded in custody for four weeks to appear again via videolink.
