Family doctor faces indecency charge
A Derbyshire family doctor has been suspended after being charged with taking indecent photographs of children.

Police say Kevin O'Sullivan, 38, from Bakewell, was arrested on Monday after complaints about his behaviour at a leisure centre in the county.

He has been charged with an offence under section one of the 1978 Protection of Children Act.

On Wednesday afternoon, Amber Valley Primary Care Trust suspended Doctor O'Sullivan from his position at the Jessop Medical Practice in Riddings.

Dr O'Sullivan's patients will be seen by other doctors.

He has been released on conditional bail and is expected to appear before Chesterfield magistrates in September.
