Appeal after indecent assault
Police are appealing for information after an indecent assault on a young woman by three men in West Sussex.

The attack happened in Storrington on 17 June, but Sussex Police launched an appeal for witnesses on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old victim was assaulted in School Lane at about 2230 BST.

Police said the incident came to an end when the offenders were interrupted by a woman walking her Labrador dog.

Distinctive mole or birthmark

Descriptions have been issued of all three men involved in the indecent assault.

The first man is described as white, in his 30s, about 6 ft 3 ins tall, of big build, with dark short spiky hair, wearing a white shirt with a diagonal red stripe from one sleeve to the button area, and dark trousers.

He had a distinctive mole or birthmark on the left side of his neck, at collar level.

The second man is said to be white, about 25, 6 ft, with mid-length messy dark hair and wearing a dark jacket with a dark T-shirt underneath.

The third man is described as white, of similar age and height to the second man, with short blond hair, and wearing a blue jacket, a blue shirt and white trainers with red stripes on them.

Sussex Police say they want anyone with information about the incident, including the identity of the woman who interrupted the assault, to contact Horsham CID.
