Man stabbed in knife attack
A man has been treated for stab wounds after a knife attack in a shopping street.

Kent Police were called to the incident outside the Oxfam shop in Windmill Street, Gravesend, at 1450 BST on Wednesday.

The man, who is in his 20s, suffered several cuts to his back.

A spokesman for Kent Police said he had been taken to Darent Valley Hospital but his injuries were not considered life threatening.

A group of at least four men were seen running away from Windmill Street along High Street, towards Queen Street and the Terrace.

Two men were arrested close to the scene, the spokesman said.

Officers are continuing to hunt for suspects described as one black man and one white man.

Police have appealed for anyone who was in Windmill Street, Queen Street or the Terrace, and who witnessed either the attack or the offenders running away from the area, to contact them.
