Man killed in Monaco road crash
An industrial designer from Stockton has been killed in a road crash in the South of France.

Craig Jackson, 40, a divorced father-of-one, died when his Lancia Integral car hit a tunnel wall and burst into flames after colliding with a motorcycle.

It happened the coast road between Monaco and the village of Eze.

Cleveland police have confirmed that the man's relatives on Teesside have been told of the tragedy.

Mr Jackson was working for a company called Metroworth which is currently carrying out contract work for the local water company Societie des Bains de Mer.

The19-year-old motorcyclist, from Monaco, died on the way to hospital.

Investigations into the cause of the accident are continuing.
