Detectives have changed their minds about Mr Gibson's death

Police have launched an investigation into the "suspicious" death of man exactly one week after his body was first discovered.

The body of 57-year-old Harold Gibson was found at a property on Alkham Road, Vintners Park, Maidstone, on Wednesday, 25 June.

At first his death was not thought to be suspicious, but since then the police have changed their mind. They say they are now not happy with the circumstances surrounding the death.

It follows reports of several men being seen arguing in the area around the time Mr Gibson died. It is not yet known whether he was among the group.

Police in Maidstone want to speak with anyone who saw Mr Gibson between Sunday, 22 June, until the time he died.
