Mystery man killed by bus
Police are trying to identify a man who died when he was hit by a bus in Brighton.

The accident happened on Saturday just before 2100 BST.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said a double-decker Brighton and Hove bus travelling south in Beaconsfield Road collided with a man near the junction with Ditchling Rise.

The man died at the scene and the 56-year-old bus driver was shocked but uninjured.

Information wanted

Police are trying to identify the man who had no identifying details on him.

He is described as white and aged between 25 and 30 years old.

He had grey eyes, dark brown wavy hair and black rimmed spectacles.

He was wearing beige trousers, black denim jacket, a white and black t-shirt and blue and white Converse trainers.

Anyone with information about the man should contact Sussex Police.
