Hannah police launch web pages
Maninder Pal Singh Kohli
The website features a fresh CCTV picture of Singh
Detectives hunting the killer of schoolgirl Hannah Foster have launched multi-language web pages appealing for help in finding their main suspect.

Hannah was raped and strangled after being abducted from close to her home in Portswood, Southampton on 14 March.

Maninder Pal Singh Kholi fled to India on March 18, two days after the 17-year-old's body was found in undergrowth in West End.

The new web pages, which are part of the main Hampshire Constabulary site, give full background to the case, and an appeal for information about Singh's whereabouts in three languages - English, Hindi and Punjabi.

The web is a vital tool in enabling us to reach people all over the world, and, in particular, the sub-continent of India
Det Supt Alan Betts
The pages also contain a fresh picture of Singh, taken from a CCTV camera shortly before he left the country.

Detective Superintendent Alan Betts, who is leading the Hampshire Constabulary investigation, said he hoped people in the Punjab would read the appeal.

"The web is a vital tool in enabling us to reach people all over the world, and, in particular, the sub-continent of India.

"Our commitment to find Hannah's killer is as strong as ever.

"We urge anyone who knows where the suspect is or has any information which can help us and police in India find him, to please call us as soon as possible."
