Man admits killing music promoter
A man has admitted murdering Sheffield music promoter Lester Divers.

Mr Divers, 32, was shot dead on New Year's Day as he got into his Lexus car outside his girlfriend's house in Freedom Road in Walkley.

Michael Ullah, from Pitsmoor, pleaded guilty to murder on Wednesday at the start of a trial at Sheffield Crown Court.

Three other men also face charges in connection with the killing.

Mr Ullah was remanded in custody until the end of the trial.

Kevin Smith, 42, from Barnsley and Craig Allen of no fixed address, are charged with murder alongside Mr Ullah.

Lee Grantham, 20, is charged with assisting an offender.
