Hardtalk in the Gulf: Repairing the damage
Riyadh
Saudi Arabia is suffering the aftermath of the Riyadh attacks.

In a Hardtalk interview on June 30 Tim Sebastian talks to Prince Abdullah bin Faisal bin Turki Al-Saud.

Last week Saudi Arabia launched a massive public relations campaign in the United States.

The aim is to improve the country's image in the wake of the May 12 bombings in Riyadh.

Reformers may be trying to bring the country into the 21st century, but is the religious right hampering their efforts?

Prince Abdullah bin Faisal bin Turki Al-Saud heads the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority.

Tim Sebastian asks him when the promises of reform will become a reality.

HARDtalk can be seen on BBC World at 03:30 GMT, 08:30 GMT, 15:30 GMT, 18:30 GMT and 23:30 GMT.

It can also be seen on BBC News 24 at 03:30 GMT and 22:30 GMT

HARDtalk with Tim Sebastian is broadcast Mon - Friday on BBC World and BBC News 24
