Paris flights proposed
Jersey Airport
The service could start later this summer
Direct flights to Paris could begin again from Jersey.

The route was lost when British Airways pulled out recently, but plans could result in a new service.

The possibility of a new direct air service from Jersey to Paris was discussed at a recent meeting of Jersey politicians with their French counterparts from Normandy.

Senator Jean Le Maistre says a helicopter service between the island and Granville is due to start in the next few weeks.

"The next proposal was that there should be a direct service to Paris," said Senator Le Maistre.

"It should perhaps be starting later this summer," he said.
