Man faces robbery charges

An 18-year-old man is due to appear in court in connection with a break-in and theft at a house on the outskirts of Belfast.

The man from Belfast faces charges with aggrevated burglary, taking and driving away a car and obstructing police.

He is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates Court on Monday.

It follows an incident on Saturday when a couple were confronted by an intruder in their bedroom in the Netherlands area of Dunmurry.

An intruder woke them up at about 0415 BST and demanded their car keys.

The man then drove off, along with an accomplice.

The couple were not injured in the incident.
