Drugs arrests in Bristol
Two separate drug raids in Bristol have led to four arrests and massive seizures of heroin and crack cocaine.

On Thursday, a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug dealing by officers from the anti-drug operation Atrium.

After being stopped in his car in Eastville - in which police found 40 wraps of crack cocaine with a street value of £1,400 - police searched the man's house.

They recovered heroin and crack cocaine, thought to be the equivalent of 250 deals, with a street value of £8,000.

They also discovered a large quantity of cash.

Deported

The man, from Bristol, was arrested for possession of drugs with intent to supply.

He is currently being questioned by police but has not been charged.

In a separate incident, Atrium officers arrested a 27-year-old woman for drug dealing on Wednesday.

Police searched a house in Stapleton Road, St Paul's, at 1300 BST and arrested the woman.

Two men were subsequently arrested in the street nearby, one of whom was immediately deported.

The second has been released to the immigration service pending further inquiries.

A total of 150 grams of crack-cocaine and 40 grams of heroin, with a street value of £8,000, were recovered.

The woman, from Stapleton Road, was charged with possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply.
